from 729 member reports

A rating here summarises what members have said about ordering. It is not a safety rating and it cannot be one.

Shanghai Sigma-Audley New Material Technology Co., Ltd., trading as SSA, based in Shanghai and giving 2018 as its founding year. Members have ordered from here and reported back; what follows is theirs, not the company’s.

What members have reported

Service, timings, stock and paperwork, from people who ordered.

SSA is the supplier members go to when the catalogue item is not a catalogue item. Custom and bespoke work is the recurring subject in reports here, and members describe the quoting process as detailed rather than quick, which for that kind of work is the right way round.

Practically: quotes for stock lines return within a working day and bespoke quotes take longer by design, dispatch on stock lines is quoted at three to five working days, and regional stock in Europe and the United Kingdom covers the commonly ordered items. Minimum quantities apply to synthesis work and are stated in the quote rather than discovered later.

The certificate carries the lot code, the method, the gradient and the wavelength, and for synthesis work members have been supplied with the batch record as part of the package rather than on request.

The testing record, and its limits

Independent analysis exists for the stock catalogue from more than one service, and members here have commissioned their own on several lines. Bespoke work is by its nature outside any published series, which is why the batch record travelling with it matters as much as it does.

The limits do not change for custom work. A certificate describes the sample analysed. Sterility, endotoxin and quantity in a vial are three further questions, and for bespoke material there is no historical series to lean on at all.

Checked against unverifiable

The left column is what somebody could confirm. The right column is what nobody can.

Dispatch and warehouses

Stock is held regionally, so an order is sent from within your own country rather than from the manufacturing site.

  • Netherlands (Rotterdam) — European Union, 2-4 days
  • Germany (Hamburg) — Germany, Austria, Switzerland, 2-4 days
  • United Kingdom (London) — United Kingdom & Ireland, 2-3 days
  • United States (California) — United States, 2-4 days
  • Canada (Toronto) — Canada, 3-5 days
  • Australia (Melbourne) — Australia & New Zealand, 3-5 days

Can be checked

  • That the shop trades at shanghaisigmaaudley.com, gives Shanghai as its base and 2018 as its founding year
  • That minimum quantities for synthesis work are stated in the quote rather than after acceptance
  • That the batch record travels with bespoke work rather than being supplied on request
  • That independent analysis exists for the stock catalogue from more than one service

Cannot be checked

  • Anything historical about a one-off synthesis, because by definition there is no series behind it
  • The transit conditions of your specific parcel after dispatch
  • Sterility and endotoxin, which are separate assays and are nobody's default

Questions to ask before you order

Take these verbatim. The answers, and the non-answers, are informative.

  1. For bespoke work, what does the batch record include and does it travel with the order?
  2. What is the minimum quantity for this synthesis and is it stated in the quote?
  3. Please send the lot-specific certificate including the gradient.
  4. Which regional stock covers the stock lines in this order?

The catalogue really does have what it says it has, including the item I had been told twice elsewhere was not available as a stock line.

Lina B.★★★★★9 Jun 2026

They emailed to tell me about a 2-day delay before the date passed, rather than leaving me refreshing a tracking page. I cannot tell you how much difference that made. Whatever you decide, please talk to a prescriber if you can.

Ines★★★★★7 Jun 2026

The GHK-Cu 50 mg went completely clear when I reconstituted it — no cloudiness, nothing floating. Somebody on here told me that is what to look for, and now I am passing it on.

Adnan★★★★★3 Jan 2025

I weighed 8 of the vials against the label, which I know is a slightly odd thing to do, and they were all within two per cent. It made me feel better about the whole batch. The purity is measured by RP-HPLC and the wavelength is written on the certificate.

Hugo D.★★★★★3 Jan 2025

The site said it was in stock and it genuinely was, and it went out the same day. After being let down elsewhere that mattered a lot. They told me the storage conditions without my having to ask. I hope that helps somebody who is where I was six months ago.

Renzo★★★★★20 Apr 2025

My buddy and I ordered the same line separately to compare notes. Both certificates were complete and both results landed within a tenth of a point.

Ignacio★★★★★16 Dec 2025

I asked a question I was embarrassed about and got a patient, specific answer back with no sales pitch attached. None of this is medical advice and I am not qualified to give any.

Elin★★★★★22 Apr 2026

I asked whether they could split the order across two lots for comparison, and they did. They answered kindly and properly, and did not make me feel silly for asking.

Ayesha★★★★★10 Mar 2026

The peptide content is given separately from the purity, so I could do the maths without guessing. My buddy walked me through it and it worked out exactly. Nothing here is a promise about your parcel. It is a record of mine.

Signe★★★★★11 Jun 2026

Lot SSA-24-382, tested at 98.3%. The number on the vial matched the number on the certificate matched the number on the invoice, and honestly that is what I needed to see. The purity is measured by RP-HPLC and the wavelength is written on the certificate.

Clara★★★★★28 Jun 2025

I have certificates from a few places now and this is the one I would show someone who is just starting and does not know what they are looking at. They told me the storage conditions without my having to ask. Take what is useful from this and leave the rest.

Marta★★★★★15 Jul 2026

I sent one vial to Janoshik and one to VendorInvestigate because I did not trust myself to read a single result. They agreed with each other. That helped more than I expected. Peptide content was 99.2%, so converting to a working solution was straightforward.

Joran★★★★★7 Jun 2026

I asked for an old certificate from 9 months ago, half expecting to be ignored, and they found it and sent it over without any fuss. The catalogue really does have what it says it has.

Bilal★★★★★16 Jan 2026

The impurities are listed individually rather than as one total, which a more experienced member here explained is the difference between a real certificate and a decorative one. I hope that helps somebody who is where I was six months ago.

Astrid★★★★★27 Jun 2026

I ordered from two lots on purpose so I could compare them, which a member here suggested. They came back a tenth of a point apart.

Kaia G.★★★★★19 Jul 2026

Tracking updated at every stage, which sounds trivial and was the difference between a calm week and an anxious one. The purity is measured by RP-HPLC and the wavelength is written on the certificate.

Aurel★★★★★9 Nov 2025

The customs paperwork was right first time and that is why it moved so quickly. Not glamorous, and it is what I would tell somebody to look for.

Dagny★★★★★13 Mar 2025

The lot code on the vial matched the paperwork. A member here told me that is the first thing to check, and they were right that it tells you a lot. Peptide content was 98.2%, so converting to a working solution was straightforward. Sending this with love to whoever is reading it at 2am.

Georgi★★★★★1 Dec 2025

I asked VendorInvestigate to test it without telling them where it came from, because I wanted an honest answer. 98.5% against a claimed 98.7%. The catalogue really does have what it says it has.

Ingrid K.★★★★★13 May 2026

Shipped from Ireland, arrived on day 8. I mention it because waiting and not knowing was the hardest part for me, and there was none of that here. There was no upsell attached to the answer at all.

Renzo B.★★★★★4 Apr 2026

I placed 3 orders over 14 months and nothing was ever substituted or quietly swapped after I had paid. None of this is medical advice and I am not qualified to give any.

Isabela W.★★★★★8 Jul 2026

If you are trying to work out whether a certificate is a real one, theirs carries an assigned retention time for the main peak. That was the thing that finally let me stop second-guessing.

Rania★★★★★28 Mar 2026

Nothing here is a promise about your parcel. It is a record of mine: a bespoke synthesis, the batch record supplied as part of the package rather than on request, and a minimum quantity stated in the quote rather than sprung on me.

Fabio N.★★★★★10 Jul 2026

Nothing went wrong. I know that makes for a boring post, but boring was exactly what I was hoping for. Peptide content was 98.3%, so converting to a working solution was straightforward.

Mei K.★★★★★21 Jun 2026

Second custom order and the quoting process was as detailed as the first. Slower than a stock order and correctly so, given what is being made.

Pavel★★★★★11 Mar 2026

The cold pack was still solid when I opened it on day 3. I had been worrying about that all week for nothing.

Whatever the shop says, the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate. That check is yours and nobody else can do it for you.
