The concentration was different and I nearly got it wrong — putting it in its own thread so it does not get lost in the check-in.

Money post. No apologies, this circle is for it.

I have been refused and I would like to appeal properly rather than emotionally, because the emotional version is what I sent last time.

I would rather hear from somebody whose appeal failed as well as from somebody whose succeeded, because I want to know what I am walking into.

I am asking here rather than anywhere else because nobody on this site is selling anything, which matters more than usual on this subject.

Thanks. Actual numbers welcome if you are willing; if not, the sequence of steps would help just as much.

What helped was doing the switch in a quiet week rather than around anything else, so that anything unexpected had room.

Dev — yes, and the bit that took me longest to accept was the next part.

My switch was for supply reasons rather than choice and it happened faster than I would have liked, which is where the risk of error sits.

Gently disagreeing with Núria, or rather adding the other half of it.

Something I got right was asking my pharmacist to talk me through the new one properly rather than reading the leaflet at home.

I felt like new again for about three weeks and then it settled, and I had not expected any adjustment period at all.

The thing I would flag is that a number that looks the same may not mean the same thing, and checking that is the whole job.

What I found is that the devices were different enough that the practical routine had to be relearned, which nobody had mentioned.

Ruaridh has already said most of this and I want to add the one part that was different for me.

My honest report is that the switch was straightforward, took one appointment and one pharmacy conversation, and was fine.

What I got wrong was assuming the schedule would map across. It did not and I asked before acting, which was the only thing I got right.

Something practical: I wrote down exactly what I had been on, in the exact terms it was described, and handed that over rather than summarising.

My prescriber restarted me lower than I had been, deliberately, and it was uneventful and I am glad she did.

Reading Aurel, I recognised more of that than I expected to.

I would say to anybody about to switch: get the new instructions in writing and read them back to somebody.
