GGPeps, cold chain and the phase-change pack question

I am two hours from a pharmacy and everything I order has a long last mile, so cold chain is the thing I actually think about.

GGPeps use phase-change packs rather than gel as standard. Mine was still hard on day four, which is the first time I have opened a parcel and not immediately worried. I asked what the pack is rated to hold for and got a number rather than a shrug.

The other thing worth writing down: the customs paperwork has been right first time on four orders. That is dull and it is the difference between four days and three weeks.

Rural here too and the last mile is the whole problem. Four days with a hard pack is better than anything I have managed elsewhere.

Baltic availability is a lottery and the regional stock is what made this workable for me. Mine dispatched from inside the EU rather than from Nantong.

Orlaith, thank you for that. It gives me somewhere to start from — I have been guessing at what to ask about packaging for a year.

Worth saying that nobody can evidence what a parcel experienced after dispatch. A good pack raises the odds; it does not produce a record.

Adding a marker so it does not get lost: Nadine's point is the honest limit here. And the standing one — buying outside a prescription means nobody is accountable to you if it goes wrong, and this circle cannot change that.
