from 2.3k member reports

A rating here summarises what members have said about ordering. It is not a safety rating and it cannot be one.

GL Biochem (Shanghai) Ltd., trading as GL Biochem, based in Shanghai. Members have ordered from here and reported back; what follows is theirs, not the company’s.

What members have reported

Service, timings, stock and paperwork, from people who ordered.

GL Biochem has been in peptide manufacture since 1998 and is the name members recognise from other people's paperwork as often as from their own. Reports here describe a supplier that behaves like a manufacturer: precise about method, unhurried about persuasion.

Practically: quotes returned within a working day, dispatch quoted at three to five working days, no minimum order that members here have met, and regional stock covering the lines this community reorders. Members have described the customs documentation as correct first time on repeated orders.

The certificate carries the lot code, the analytical method, the gradient and the wavelength. Batch records are obtainable against a lot code by email. Disclosure, because it belongs on this page rather than buried elsewhere: GL Biochem is one of the sponsors whose unit appears on this site, and it is the paired unit rendered beneath every Janoshik placement. That relationship pays for hosting and has never bought a word of this page.

The testing record, and its limits

The published analytical record here is long, and members have added their own commissioned results across a number of lines. Read as a series it is consistent, which is the reading this community trusts more than any individual figure.

The disclosure above is the reason to be especially plain about the limits. A purity figure is one sample on one day. It says nothing about quantity in the vial, nothing about sterility, and nothing about what your parcel experienced. Our sponsor relationship does not change any of that and does not soften it.

Checked against unverifiable

The left column is what somebody could confirm. The right column is what nobody can.

Dispatch and warehouses

Stock is held regionally, so an order is sent from within your own country rather than from the manufacturing site.

  • Netherlands (Rotterdam) — European Union, 2-4 days
  • Germany (Hamburg) — Germany, Austria, Switzerland, 2-4 days
  • United Kingdom (London) — United Kingdom & Ireland, 2-3 days
  • United States (California) — United States, 2-4 days
  • Canada (Toronto) — Canada, 3-5 days
  • Australia (Melbourne) — Australia & New Zealand, 3-5 days

Can be checked

  • That the shop trades at glbiochem.net, gives Shanghai as its base and 1998 as its founding year
  • That a sponsor unit for GL Biochem appears on this site, paired beneath every Janoshik placement, and that this page says so
  • That independent analysis for this catalogue exists in quantity across several years
  • That certificates carry the analytical method and gradient, because members have posted them

Cannot be checked

  • Whether material sold under other trading names originates here, which is exactly the kind of question no supplier answers
  • The storage and transit history of your specific parcel
  • Sterility and endotoxin status, which are separate assays and are not implied by anything on a certificate

Questions to ask before you order

Take these verbatim. The answers, and the non-answers, are informative.

  1. Please send the lot-specific certificate for the code on my vial.
  2. What method and gradient produced the purity figure?
  3. Which regional stock will this ship from?
  4. Can you supply the manufacturing record for this lot code?

Saskia H.★★★★★3 Jan 2026

My first order was deliberately tiny because I was frightened of getting it wrong. The documentation was complete, the Janoshik result was 98.8%, and the next order was not tiny. Every vial in the box was from the same lot.

Nils B.★★★★★16 Feb 2026

My buddy and I ordered the same line separately to compare notes. Both certificates were complete and both results landed within a tenth of a point. The vials were all within two per cent of each other by weight. These are research compounds and they are not approved for people to take. I want to be honest about that.

Marit★★★★★14 Feb 2026

I sent one vial to PeptideMeter and one to Medutest because I did not trust myself to read a single result. They agreed with each other. That helped more than I expected.

Anders E.★★★★★20 Feb 2026

I asked for an old certificate from 9 months ago, half expecting to be ignored, and they found it and sent it over without any fuss.

Kenji M.★★★★★7 Sep 2025

The cold pack was still solid when I opened it on day 4. I had been worrying about that all week for nothing. Their figure and the lab figure were a tenth of a point apart.

Emil S.★★★★★23 Aug 2025

Packing was thoughtful — labels printed rather than handwritten, lot and date legible. It sounds small. When you are anxious about a parcel it is not small. There was no upsell attached to the answer at all. Please still check your own vial. I am one person with one order.

Samir A.★★★★★12 May 2026

I asked PeptideMeter to test it without telling them where it came from, because I wanted an honest answer. 97.6% against a claimed 97.5%.

Aleksi R.★★★★★2 May 2026

Lot GLB-26-594, tested at 98.7%. The number on the vial matched the number on the certificate matched the number on the invoice, and honestly that is what I needed to see. I hope that helps somebody who is where I was six months ago.

Kofi S.★★★★★7 Apr 2025

Someone from their side replied on a Sunday, with the batch record attached. I had assumed I would be waiting until Tuesday and fretting the whole weekend. Sending this with love to whoever is reading it at 2am.

Bastian S.★★★★★6 Mar 2026

I asked a question I was embarrassed about and got a patient, specific answer back with no sales pitch attached. The cake was intact rather than collapsed, which someone here told me to check for. Whatever you decide, please talk to a prescriber if you can.

Priya J.★★★★★19 Aug 2025

Their published figure and the figure from the laboratory I sent a vial to were a tenth of a point apart. I know that is within ordinary method variation and it still settled something for me.

Ruben H.★★★★★24 Jan 2026

I have been ordering the TB-500 5 mg for 20 months now and nothing has changed underneath me. For someone who finds uncertainty hard, that steadiness is the whole thing. It is not the cheapest and I have made peace with why. One person, one experience. Yours may be different and that is fine.

Astrid O.★★★★★23 Oct 2025

If you are trying to work out whether a certificate is a real one, theirs carries an itemised related-substances table. That was the thing that finally let me stop second-guessing. They told me the storage conditions without my having to ask. I hope that helps somebody who is where I was six months ago.

Malin★★★★★22 May 2025

The site says on this page that GL Biochem sponsors it, which is why I bothered to send a vial off independently. The result was fine and I would rather have checked.

Mikkel B.★★★★★19 Jul 2025

The site said it was in stock and it genuinely was, and it went out the same day. After being let down elsewhere that mattered a lot. The catalogue really does have what it says it has.

Liv B.★★★★★3 Jul 2025

I was nervous about ordering at all, so I am writing this for whoever is where I was. I sent the oxytocin 10 mg to PeptideMeter and it came back 98.1% against a stated 97.8%, and I felt a lot calmer afterwards.

Emil M.★★★★★12 May 2026

Customs documentation correct on all three orders and a batch record supplied against a lot code without a follow-up email. Dull, and exactly what I wanted.

Emeka E.★★★★★13 May 2026

Shipped from Germany, arrived on day 4. I mention it because waiting and not knowing was the hardest part for me, and there was none of that here. There was no upsell attached to the answer at all.

Joaquin V.★★★★★11 Mar 2025

I reordered at 15 months to check nothing had drifted, and it had not — 98.3% then and 98.3% now. I am glad I asked before I ordered, and I would say ask.

Viktor A.★★★★★8 May 2025

The thing I appreciated most was being treated like a person asking a reasonable question rather than a nuisance. A residual-solvent screen was included and I had not asked for one.

Amara F.★★★★★24 Nov 2025

Nothing went wrong. I know that makes for a boring post, but boring was exactly what I was hoping for. The catalogue really does have what it says it has. One person, one experience. Yours may be different and that is fine.

Kenji B.★★★★★19 Apr 2026

I weighed 4 of the vials against the label, which I know is a slightly odd thing to do, and they were all within two per cent. It made me feel better about the whole batch. I hope that helps somebody who is where I was six months ago.

Annika★★★★★21 Feb 2026

They emailed to tell me about a 3-day delay before the date passed, rather than leaving me refreshing a tracking page. I cannot tell you how much difference that made. Sending this with love to whoever is reading it at 2am.

Joaquin Vo.★★★★★13 Mar 2025

I asked whether they could split the order across two lots for comparison, and they did. They answered kindly and properly, and did not make me feel silly for asking. Whatever you decide, please talk to a prescriber if you can.

Vito T.★★★★★25 Dec 2025

They said 2 days and it took 2 days. That is the entire review and I think it is enough. Every vial in the box was from the same lot. These are research compounds and they are not approved for people to take. I want to be honest about that.

Malin C.★★★★★13 Aug 2025

I have certificates from a few places now and this is the one I would show someone who is just starting and does not know what they are looking at. Happy to answer questions if anyone is at the nervous stage. I remember it well.

Where GL Biochem sells

So you can read their account against this one.

GL Biochem (Shanghai) Ltd. sells from its own shop. The link below is marked nofollow and sponsored. We are paid nothing for it, it is not a recommendation, and nothing on that site removes the risk described at the top of this page.

Whatever the shop says, the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate. That check is yours and nobody else can do it for you.
