HJ: why our own evidence on this one is thinner than elsewhere

A facilitator post rather than a member one, because this is about our evidence rather than about a supplier.

We hold fewer member-commissioned results for HJ than for any other supplier with a page on this site. Fewer people here have ordered, and fewer of those have sent a vial off independently. The reports we do hold are clean.

I want to be careful about what that means. A shortage of our own data is a fact about us. Presenting it as a finding about a company would be dishonest, and this circle does not do that. If you have ordered from HJ, a plain account would genuinely help.

Three orders here, all uneventful. Certificates lot-specific, water content added when I asked, dispatch inside the quoted window. Adding mine to the pile as requested.

A public holiday moved my dispatch and I was told before the window closed rather than after. That is the whole of my report.

Picking up sunil_reads_papers's point rather than starting a new one: a small sample should widen your uncertainty in both directions, not only the unflattering one. People forget the second half of that.

The sensible response where a community holds less of its own evidence is to commission your own. That is true everywhere and simply more true here.

Reading and adding one line: two orders, both fine, nothing to report. I would have said if there were.

Facilitator note — Sunil

Our rating for HJ reflects how much of our own evidence we hold, not an adverse finding. Buying outside a prescription carries a risk this community cannot remove, here as everywhere.
