Injecting in an aeroplane toilet, reviewed — putting it in its own thread so it does not get lost in the check-in.

Practical question, and possibly a silly one.

The arrangements are the hard bit for me. Nothing medical has been difficult; the organising has been relentless.

I would rather hear one person's actual arrangement in detail than five general suggestions, if anybody is willing to write theirs out.

I will come back and say what I settled on, in case it is useful to the next person asking this.

Ferry travel is a different problem again because of the time and the temperature, and I have found the cool bag margin much tighter.

Noor — yes, and the bit that took me longest to accept was the next part.

The thing that made mine easy was doing it before the trip so that the whole holiday was clear. Simple, and I did not think of it for two years.

I found holidays hard for reasons that had nothing to do with logistics. Other people's meals, other people's schedules, and no routine at all.

Reading Noor, I recognised more of that than I expected to.

The pharmacy at my destination was helpful when I had a problem, which I had not thought of as an option and now include in my planning.

I found the anxiety about travelling with it much worse than the travelling. Nine trips in and it is now completely routine.

My prescriber wrote a two-line letter that has crossed nine borders and been read once. Still worth having.

Something practical: a photograph of everything, including the label, on my phone. Costs nothing and has been useful twice.

The guides here on travel are the ones I actually printed, which is not something I say about much on the internet.

Mimi has already said most of this and I want to add the one part that was different for me.

I keep the original packaging with the label on it, always, which somebody here recommended and which I gather makes questions much shorter.
