A question rather than an update: Travelling in 38 degrees
The logistics of this are defeating me more than the medicine is.
I nearly did not ask because it sounds trivial written down, and it has been the most persistent difficulty of the last six months.
This is the boring administrative kind of problem, which I gather is the kind that actually gets solved when you ask.
Sorry for the length. The logistics take longer to describe than they do to do.

My rule now is that everything travels with me, nothing gets checked, and I have a spare of anything small enough to duplicate.

The guides here on travel are the ones I actually printed, which is not something I say about much on the internet.

Coming back from a three-week trip to say it was entirely uneventful, which is the outcome I wanted to read about before I went.

Stepping in to say that a household adjusting slowly is not a household failing. Several replies have been quite hard on people who are simply taking time.

Somebody here suggested keeping everything in a single labelled pouch so that a bag search takes thirty seconds. Excellent advice.

What surprised me was how many people at security had clearly seen it many times before. There was no curiosity at all.

I had a delay of eleven hours and my cool bag held, and I only knew it would because I had tested it at home first.

What I would flag is the return journey. I plan the outbound obsessively and had a difficult time on a delayed flight home.

What Minnie described happened to me too, in a slightly different order.
Ferry travel is a different problem again because of the time and the temperature, and I have found the cool bag margin much tighter.

What helped was doing a dry run at home with the cool bag for a full day, so I knew how long it actually held temperature.

My insurance needed a declaration and it took one phone call and did not change the price. Worth doing rather than hoping.

The pharmacy at my destination was helpful when I had a problem, which I had not thought of as an option and now include in my planning.

I found the anxiety about travelling with it much worse than the travelling. Nine trips in and it is now completely routine.

Something practical: a photograph of everything, including the label, on my phone. Costs nothing and has been useful twice.
